Grand Theft Auto VI fans are once again deep into speculation mode after reports emerged suggesting retailer pre-orders for the game could begin very soon.
According to multiple reports, Best Buy allegedly informed affiliates that GTA 6 pre-orders may go live next week (18th May), immediately sparking discussion online about whether Rockstar Games could also be preparing another major reveal.
Adding further weight to the reports, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has since stated that the outlet was able to independently verify that the Best Buy pre-order information is legitimate.

While Rockstar still hasn’t officially announced new pre-order details itself, many fans now believe a fresh trailer, screenshots, or gameplay showcase could be arriving soon. Speculation surrounding a possible “Trailer 3” announcement has quickly accelerated across social media and gaming forums following the latest reports.
At the same time, some fans are remaining cautious. Rockstar has built a reputation for revealing information on its own schedule, often with very little warning, meaning there’s still no guarantee that a new trailer is directly connected to the retailer listings.
Even so, the situation once again highlights the enormous anticipation surrounding GTA 6. Small retailer updates and backend changes are enough to dominate gaming conversations online, with fans continuing to analyse every possible clue tied to the game’s release.
If pre-orders do officially go live in the near future, many expect Rockstar’s next marketing push may not be far behind.
Keep Calm and waka waka...
