We're seeking an individual who can help us continue to break boundaries, lead by example, and deliver on our promise to players.

In this role you'll play a vital part in building our brand-new, cutting-edge UI from the ground up. Working closely with a wide range of other disciplines, you'll be involved in both the conception and execution of each new UI feature right from the start. With your help, we'll build an efficient and entertaining AAA experience for our future players. This is a unique opportunity to break away from the conventional and make your mark on something special.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with project directors and key stakeholders to build a world-class UI from the ground up.
  • Convert visual UI concepts and UX designs into shippable in-engine UI flows.
  • Break down game systems and features into efficient and reusable component parts that we can use to build all our future UI with.
  • Become our in-house implementation expert, mastering the UI editor and all its related tooling.
  • Help to design, build, and maintain our in-house workflows and content pipelines for the UI creation process.
  • Become a champion for all things UI in the studio.


Who you are

  • You have 3+ years implementing AAA UI for console and/or PC (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrable experience building UI within Unreal 4 or 5 using Blueprint and UMG.
  • Highly familiar with the current trends, techniques, and technology behind successful, contemporary game UI.
  • A keen eye for visual detail and a passion pixel-perfect implementation.
  • A motivated and naturally analytical person - you're happiest when finding simple solutions to tricky problems.
  • An excellent communicator, able to effectively convey your craft to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Nice to have: Any experience with AngelScript or C++
  • Nice to have: A basic understanding of foundational UX principles and techniques.
