We're seeking an individual who can help us continue to break boundaries, lead by example, and deliver on our promise to players.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you are responsible for working with the team to find efficient solutions to typical problems occurring when trying to sync a game state between a server and many clients.

You work in a central tech role or embedded in cross disciplinary feature teams where you use your experience and passion for games when solving problems together.

What you will do

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the "netcode" of the game.
  • Pushing boundaries on gameplay tech by exploring new networking solutions and ways to compensate for latency.
  • Responsible for tracking network performance and bandwidth budgets both on client and dedicated server and then guiding the team in how to solve the problems.
  • Produce and maintain documentation, share best practices and conduct training sessions to the team to ensure proper use of algorithms and methods.
  • TTK Games goto-person when it comes to "netcode".


Who you are

  • You will have 5+ years of experience in gameplay/engine development with at least 3 years of experience as a network/gameplay/online engineer on a shipped AAA title.
  • You will have a strong understanding of game engine simulation and networking architectures and concepts like game-state, tick, replication, prediction, correction, rollback, lockstep, interpolation.
  • Ideally you will have experience working with game engines (Unreal, Unity or similar)
  • Linux experience is a big plus.


Salary range Starting from 51,250 SEK per month, rising to 93,750 SEK per month with experience, plus bi-annual bonus, and perks.
