We're seeking an individual who can help us continue to break boundaries, lead by example, and deliver on our promise to players.

As a Senior Gameplay Engineer, you are the spider in the net making sure all parts of the game come together as designed. You also enable the team by democratizing gameplay development for everyone.

What you will do

  • Work closely with other disciplines to drive implementation of gameplay systems and features consistent with projects design goals.
  • Push boundaries on gameplay tech in areas like physics, AI, large worlds, high number of dynamic objects, animation, networking solutions etc.
  • Validate game design hypotheses through rapid prototyping and team feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and fine-tune gameplay elements to achieve a high level of polish and player enjoyment.
  • Profile and optimize gameplay systems on client and dedicated server to maintain smooth frame rates while respecting performance, memory and bandwidth budgets.
  • Produce and maintain documentation, share best practices and conduct training sessions to the team to ensure proper use of algorithms and methods.


Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in gameplay development with at least 3 years of experience as an AI engineer on a shipped AAA title.
  • Strong understanding of game engine architecture and concepts.
  • Experience working with game engines (Unreal, Unity or similar).
  • Strong understanding of multiplayer networking including latency mitigation and server -client interactions.
  • Experience of performance optimization techniques for gameplay systems.
  • Experience working with online shooters is a plus.


Salary range Starting from SEK 47,150 rising to SEK 86,250 with experience.
