About Midoki

We are an award wining mobile game development studio based in Warwickshire, the heart of the English countryside. Founded by a small team of veteran game developers in late 2011, our focus is the creation of ground-breaking, socially-connected games that deliver rich entertaining experiences to the mobile space. Midoki collaborated in SEGA Hardlight's Crazy taxi: City Rush, and has developed the award-winning games Plunder Pirates and Knighthood.

Day in the life of a Senior Product Manager:

Are you ready to take charge of the lifecycle of our live F2P mobile game, Knighthood? As a Senior Product Manager, your day revolves around driving the success of the title through strategic business model refinement, precise forecasting, and setting KPIs. You'll wield your expertise to recommend content enhancements, prioritise backlog tasks, and conduct insightful analysis to inform decision-making.

With a keen eye for optimisation, you'll spearhead multivariate experimentation and fine-tune our store presence for optimal performance. Acting as a bridge between external publishing partners and our internal game development team, you'll ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of objectives. Regular reporting on game performance and supporting data-driven development practices across teams will be crucial elements of your role.

Please note, you will need to be UK based for this role (remote basis offered within the UK).

What you need to do this job:

• Hands-on experience as a Game Product Manager or Economy Designer/Manager on at least 2 published titles.

• Extensive knowledge of current and past trends in LiveOps as it relates to product design.

• Experience working with game economies at scale with F2P or Games as a Service focused business model.

• Experience designing, running, and analysing A/B tests at scale.

• Experience with backlog management in a development situation. Publishing experience is a nice to have.

• Experience using prioritization frameworks (i.e. ICE, Jobs to be Done, etc.) in Backlog Management.

• Competency with SQL or other relevant query languages.

• Advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel.

The Interview Process:

At Midoki, we want a holistic and engaging interview process that allows us to get to know you, your skills and your potential. For the Senior Product Manager role, we have a 2 stage interview process:

1st Stage: One hour with our Lead Producer and Lead Designer. Here we will talk with you about your experience, our expectations in the role and ask some competency based questions. There will, of course, be opportunities for you to ask questions!

2nd Stage: One hour with our Lead Producer and Studio Director. This is a chance for us to discuss further technical aspects of the role and for you to meet some more of the team here at Secret Mode.
