THE ROLE

As our new Experienced/Senior Programmer with a focus on Rendering, you will help us explore, create, and deliver world-leading innovation in software and VR hardware.

You will join up and work collaboratively with other highly skilled and talented programmers in this exciting area of gaming. You will be at the forefront of what we do on the projects and play a key role in the delivery of our games and empower others in the studio in achieving their visions and bringing ideas to life in such an interactive and in depth medium like ours.

We will give you the chance to work with cutting edge technologies on new platforms and VR headsets and be responsible for coordinating multiplayer requirements and designing and implementing cutting-edge networking solutions. Our next VR game which is a globally recognised leading game within its genre, so a fantastic opportunity that cannot be missed to work on such a large title.

Working alongside our highly talented and skilled designers and artists, you will be contributing your skills to bring the game to life for the player.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong programming background in C# or C++
  • Excellent Unreal/Unity knowledge
  • Strong communicator, able to work closely with designers, artists and product owners
  • Pragmatic problem solver able to work with minimal supervision
  • Shipped a successful game on either Unity
  • Experience with full-cycle development
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience in the games industry

Nice to have Skills
  • VR development experience on Quest, Vive, or comparable flagship headsets
  • PS 5 development experience
  • Experience with performance profiling in Unity and/or VR
  • Developed FPS and action games
