If you have DevOps or software developer experience and you’re seeking a new remote role, Skillsearch wants to hear from you. We are helping a respected AAA sports IP recruit a Technical Director for a UFL game, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a Technical Director, you will own the technical roadmap of the UFL game and collaborate with the other discipline directors to provide a clear vision of the game. The team unites creative professionals who put great effort into developing a top-quality project for gaming consoles.

During your first few weeks in this Technical Director role, you can expect to:

  • Provide technical solutions to support the game features 

  • Give technical advice to help with project planning 

  • Work closely with Lead Engineers across the studio to ensure high-quality code that meets the requirements of the game 

We are seeking a Technical Director with at least 10 years of experience and expert knowledge in game design. You must also possess:

  • Technical Direction experience for at least one successfully launched AAA gaming title (Technical Director / CTO role) 

  • Excellent programming skills, but with a director-level perspective 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present your ideas to a large group of discipline experts and other leads on the project 

  • Expert knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine 4/5
