As a Technical Artist, you will work within a passionate team to support engineers and artists and help drive the company in new directions in visuals and procedural creation.

In your first few weeks in this Technical Artist role, you can expect to:

  • Develop, implement and maintain efficient workflows, tools and pipelines for the art team 

  • Develop tools to assist asset optimisation and ensure assets conform to technical requirements 

  • Review current and emerging technologies and technical developments for inclusion in our games 

  • Share best practices and be the missing link in the communication of the art and programming tribes 

To apply for this Technical Artist role, you will need excellent technical proficiency in Unreal, including materials and blueprints. You will also require:

  • An excellent understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) art pipelines and practical skills with profiling and optimisation and establishing platform standards 

  • A passion for games and a willingness to learn new skills 

  • Good documentation skills and experience with Python
