Our client, a remote-first game-development company, is seeking a full-time Senior VFX Artist. This role is fully remote and offers a favourable salary and benefits.

As a Senior VFX Artist, you will design and implement high-quality AAA VFX to support gameplay and art direction.

In your first week in this VFX Designer role, you can expect to:

  • Create and optimise VFX to run within performance limitations 

  • Collaborate closely with art, animation, design and programming teams to anticipate and overcome challenges, meeting visual requirements and constraints 

  • Translate references, concept art, game design briefs, and verbal directions into prototypes and implement real-time VFX in-game 

To apply for this VFX role, you will need mid to senior-level professional VFX experience in the game industry. You will also require the following:

  • A solid reel/portfolio showcasing your real-time FX work 

  • At least one shipped title 

  • A critical eye for timing, animation and motion of real-world objects and visual FX 

  • The ability to create all art needed for the FX from prototype to final FX.
