Our client, a gaming studio in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines, is looking for an experienced Senior Unity Engineer to lead the development of a new, mid-core, 3D mobile game project, from prototype to full production. This full-time role offers a favourable salary and benefits.

This is a unique opportunity for an intellectually curious and hardworking individual to establish a greenfield game project as part of an engaged and experienced organisation. Initially, you will work closely with a small team to build and iterate on a prototype, including with executive stakeholders.

In your first few weeks in this Unity 3D game engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of a new game project, from prototype to full production 

  • Develop and rapidly iterate on the game prototype, in close collaboration with design leads, and work with other leaders to ultimately scale the development team and project into full-production 

  • Partner closely with design, art, production, engineering teams to identify focus areas and provide effective solutions for the appropriate phase of development. 

To apply for this Senior Unity Engineer role, you will need a BSc (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field and 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in live service mobile games. You will also require 5 years of experience with Unity 3D game development. In addition, you should have experience building a game from prototype to launch and shipping, ideally with Unity.
