If you have Senior Technical Artist experience and you’re seeking a new remote job, we want to hear from you! Skillsearch is helping a gaming studio find a Senior Technical Artist, and the remote role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a Senior Technical Artist, you will help to direct, plan and implement solutions for the art team. You will set great examples and mentor junior Technical Artists to maintain a consistently high standard of support across all disciplines within the studio.

In your first few weeks in this Senior Technical Artist role, you can expect to:

  • Drive state-of-the-art visuals that complement the game design and help deliver an exceptional product 

  • Prototype graphics-related features and author content that requires high technical expertise 

  • Pioneer novel content creation techniques 

  • Work with the Art, Engineering and Production departments to ensure all dependencies are met 

  • Support the Art team in debugging tools and game-related issues. 

To apply for this Senior Technical Artist role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Intimate knowledge of the content creation pipeline (modelling/Uv’ing, texturing/shading, lighting, FX and rigging/animation) 

  • Extensive knowledge of Unreal Tech, including applications such as material creation and blueprint 

  • Experience as a Technical Artist on shipped AAA titles 

  • Experience with the Substance suite, Houdini, C++, shading languages (HLSL, GLSL, cg or pssl) and extensive application scripting experience.
