Skillsearch is looking for a Senior Rendering Programmer to join our client's inclusive, multicultural team in Canada. This remote role comes with a generous salary and benefits package. Employees can work remotely across Canada Only, and you'll be working on AAA games.

As a Senior Rendering Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining parts of the company's in-house engine and contributing to the Unreal Engine. The role involves daily cooperation with other programmers locally as well as remotely.

If you were already up and running in this role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in last week:

  • Designing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining parts of the in-house engine 

  • Contributing to the Unreal Engine 

To apply for this Senior Rendering Programmer role, you will need an excellent knowledge of C++ coding principles and practices with at least 4 years of professional experience. You will also require:

  • Familiarity with Vulcan, DirectX and/or OpenGL 

  • Experience writing shaders and rendering pipelines 

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the games industry or in real-time systems
