Skillsearch is helping a games studio find a Senior Programmer to join their talented team in Brighton and Hove. This full-time role offers hybrid working options and comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

As a Senior Programmer, you will work closely with all disciplines to bring the Creative Director’s vision to fruition.

In your first few weeks in this Senior Programmer role, you can expect to:

  • Lead development of game features 
  • Work with coders, artists, game and audio designers in a dynamic team environment 
  • Work with multiple programming languages, including C#, C or C++ 
  • Happily pick up new languages and technologies. 

To apply for this Senior Programmer role, you will need skills in multiple programming languages, including one of C#, C or C++, along with demonstrable skills in technical design. You will also need the following:

  • Experience with Unity, another C# game engine, or Unreal 
  • Knowledge of multiple languages such as Python, HLSL, Javascript, Rust, Swift 
  • Experience in networked game technologies and techniques 
  • Familiarity and understanding of network backends, cloud-based servers and databases.
