Our client is seeking a Senior Lighting Artist to join an inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time remote role comes with a great salary and benefits package.

As a Senior Lighting Artist, you will work with all relevant departments to create beautiful, high-quality environment lighting that matches the gameplay and art direction of the world while respecting the story-telling requirements.

In your first few weeks in this Senior Lighting Artist role, you can expect to:

  • Balance performance and visual quality with your lighting 

  • Identify and set up best practices of production workflow 

  • Create lighting for interiors, exteriors, character set-ups, and cinematics 

  • Work to meet production deadlines 

  • Work with the Creative Director to assist with creating and providing feedback on the development of Lighting-specific tools and features 

To apply for this Senior Lighting Artist role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Proficiency in lighting within the Unity Engine 

  • An understanding of colour theory, material properties, spatial, and light behaviour 

  • Familiarity with Maya, Blender, or equivalent Digital Content Creation (DCC) software 

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tools and techniques 

  • A passion for video games and a desire to contribute to creating immersive gaming experiences
