Senior Gameplay Systems Programmer responsibilities:

  • Prototype new gameplay features and explore creative ideas 

  • Focus on quality and the player experience 

  • Design, develop, document, test and maintain accessible gameplay features and systems 

  • Design and develop a variety of gameplay systems, drive tooling implementation 

  • Assist in implementation of game content 

  • Troubleshoot gameplay issues throughout the team 

  • Strive to deliver a robust set of gameplay features 

Key requirements for this remote role:

  • Aware of established gameplay system types and methods 

  • Experience working with animation and character related technologies 

  • Experience working in small groups in a multi-disciplinary team 

  • Strong C++ programming skills 

  • Proficient in maths and 3D geometry 

  • Software engineering and software architecture principles 

  • Experience working with interfacing to a large codebase 

  • Profiling and optimisation skills 

  • Passionate about games
