A little bit about the city: Berlin

As the German capital, Berlin is almost 775 years old and is known as a city of culture, politics and science. With a lively culture and infamous history, this city is loved by locals and tourists alike and certainly has a lot to offer those who want to explore it. The art scene is one cultural aspect of the city that is constantly flourishing, the East Side Gallery is one example which is a highly popular tourist spot. This open-air gallery is home to a large part of the Berlin Wall, which has been entirely covered by over 100 paintings, and is now recognised as a protected landmark.

With around half a million people of Berlin’s population being people who originate from outside of Germany, you certainly won’t be alone if you’re thinking of relocating to this vibrant city. As for getting around the city, Berlin offers a highly efficient public transport system which has been noted as affordable and always on time. With one ticket, you have access to every public transport service in Berlin, from various train services, to buses, trams and ferries, this comprehensive system makes getting around a breeze.
