Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Designer to work on a remote basis. The full-time Senior AI Designer role comes with a generous salary and many attractive benefits.

As a Senior AI Designer, you will create AI systems that elevate games' realism and player engagement. The role requires a deep understanding of game design principles, code comprehension skills, and a passionate drive to craft compelling AI-driven gameplay.

In your first few weeks in this Senior AI Designer role, you can expect to:

  • Collaborate with the design team to define the AI requirements and goals for the game 

  • Design and develop AI behaviours, decision-making systems, and mechanics that enhance player interactions with non-player characters (NPCs) and enemies 

  • Create robust AI systems that adapt and respond to player actions and dynamically adjust the game's challenge level 

  • Conduct extensive playtesting and iterate on AI systems based on player feedback. 

To apply for this Senior AI Designer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an AI Design role 

  • Experience working on tactical shooters, preferably first-or-third-person games 

  • Familiarity with AI techniques, such as pathfinding and behaviour trees 

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and optimize AI systems for performance and stability 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
