Remote Lead AI Programmer

As a Lead AI Programmer at this studio, you will be working fully remotely (within Europe) as you take a hands-on leadership role working on core AI systems in C++ within Unreal Engine 4. If you like the sound of joining a passionate and creative team, you’ll fit right in here.

This studio is currently working on a cutting-edge shooter looter game that is set to be a huge success! If you join their welcoming team you will be able to enjoy a multicultural, motivational, and innovative working environment, as well as flexible working hours, and a load more perks!

Please note this role is remote within Europe only.

Lead AI Programmer responsibilities:

  • Utilise UE4 AI systems and implement them in C++ 

  • Work closely with team members and communicate regularly 

  • Participate from design through to implementation 

  • Fix issues which arise in AI systems 

Key requirements for this remote role:

  • Significant experience developing AI behaviours in Unreal Engine 4 

  • Have shipped one or more game built in UE4 

  • Experience participating in code reviews 

  • Strong understanding of Computer Science and C++ development 

  • Experience in Object Oriented software design and debugging 

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 

  • Passionate about making and playing games
