Do you have game design experience, and are you seeking a full-time job in Göteborg? Skillsearch is helping a group of indie studios find a Game Designer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

The role includes both ownership and coordination of the game and its design, as well as collaborating with other fantastic game designers to create and realise the vision of the company's games.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Develop game projects from concept to a complete design 

  • Continuously prototype, test and tweak different aspects of game designs 

  • Manage and maintain detailed documentation that covers all the components of the game design 

  • Team up with programmers, artists and other disciplines to develop game systems, designs and mechanics. 

To apply, you will need a minimum of 3 years' previous experience in the games industry as a Game Designer. You will also require:

  • Experience from at least 1 AA full game cycle, from concept and pre-production to release 

  • Experience in iterative development of game mechanics and game systems, implementation, balancing and prototyping 

  • Great knowledge of working in Unity or other 3D game engines.
