As an Engine Programmer at this studio in Amsterdam, you will work to extend and customise Unreal Engine 5 for the new project as you support the development team and ensure the future success of the game at a very exciting time for the studio.

This AAA studio is home to one of the bestselling games of all time and is made up of a tight team of talented individuals. 4 years after the release of their flagship title, which is one of the highest selling games of all time, they are now working on a brand new, highly anticipated project... Engine Programmer key responsibilities:

  • Extend and customise UE5 functionality 

  • Extend editor functionality 

  • Profile and optimise game features 

Essential requirements for this role in Amsterdam:

  • Extensive C++ knowledge and experience 

  • Significant prior experience in a senior role in the games industry 

  • Familiar with Unreal Engine 

  • Strong understanding of game engine and editor concepts 

  • Experience extending Unreal Engine and editor functionality 

  • Experience creating new modules or plugins
