If you're an experienced C++ programmer looking for a challenging new role in London, we want to hear from you! We’re searching for skilled Programmers to join a thriving game studio and work on a sandbox adventure game where players design and build their own creations. This full-time role offers an excellent salary, benefits package, and hybrid working, with 2 days per week spent working at their office in London and the option to work up to 3 days from home.

You will be joining a highly talented code team that utilises a customised Unreal engine and operates across the full spectrum of development––from graphics and engine code to developing new gameplay systems and UIs.

As a C++ Developer and senior member of the code team, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior programmers and help steer the project's technical direction. Each team member works closely with the other disciplines to design, prototype, and deliver new game features. As such, they are granted a high level of autonomy over how these features are implemented.

We are looking for Developers with extensive prior professional game programming experience who have shipped at least 1 game. You must possess an excellent understanding of the development process. Additional requirements include:

  • High competence in C++ (within a games industry context)
  • An advanced understanding of how to structure and debug code
  • Good working knowledge of 3D maths and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to self-organise and collaborate effectively with the rest of the team

As a vital member of our team and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, we will provide a favourable salary and a wide range of benefits that include:

  • 35+ days off, comprising 25 days of leave, 8 UK bank holidays, a studio-wide shutdown between Christmas and New Year, plus 2 Wellbeing days
  • Eyecare Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme (which includes mental health support), regular mental health themed chats/roundtables, 2 x wellbeing days and trained Mental Health First Aiders
  • 8 weeks fully paid paternity leave and 24 weeks fully paid maternity leave
