Do you have game art experience, and are you seeking a new job in Nanjing, China? Skillsearch is helping a gaming company find a full-time Art Director, and the role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.

As an Art Director, you will play a crucial role in leading projects, setting standards and directing the artistic vision of their projects. This position requires a blend of creative flair, technical expertise and leadership skills.

In your first few weeks in this Art Director role, you can expect to:

  • Lead and manage art projects from conception to completion 

  • Establish and maintain high artistic standards and creative vision for the team 

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that the core values of each project are captured 

  • Enhance the skill levels and work quality of team members to secure both tests and orders 

  • Appoint and guide the direction of projects to align with client expectations and company goals. 

To apply, you must have experience in AAA game development, specifically in level and environment design. The following are also required:

  • A background in 3D art, with a focus on realistic styles 

  • At least one year of experience in a similar position with a proven track record of successful projects 

  • Excellent communication and management skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and motivate a team.
