Our client is looking for an Art Director / Lead Artist who would be leading the design and production of console games artwork. This full-time Art Director role is based in Riyadh and offers a favourable salary and benefits.

As Art Director, you will be setting the art vision for the team of talented artists, coaching and managing them to create the title's visual style, look, and feel. You will also drive, inspire and mentor the team to deliver the highest quality work.

In your first few weeks in this Art Director role, you can expect to:

  • Set the artistic vision to create unique worlds - establishing a consistent and appealing visual identity for characters, environments, and other high-quality assets 

  • Create diverse, innovative, and functional art styles for the game 

  • Set up the best practices and standards for production based on industry benchmarks and share your expertise with the team members 

  • Review and validate the assets which adhere to the product vision. 

To apply for this Art Director role, you will need a track record of at least 3 major console games with one 3D title as an Art Director or team lead. You will also require experience working with both in-house and outsourcing/external art teams. In addition, you should have completed one entire AAA production cycle on a game from beginning to end and be experienced in IP creation and artistic pillars for the game.
