Skillsearch is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting Associate to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Accounting Associate role is based in Quezon City and offers a favourable salary and benefits package.

This position is primarily responsible for consolidating and ensuring the correctness of entries in the Journal and General Ledger. Mainly responsible for recording and analysing Sale and Accounts Receivable, preparing journal entries for fixed assets. You will also undertake bank reconciliation for all RR depository banks.

In your first few weeks in this Accounting Associate role, you can expect to:

  • Ensure consolidated expense and income reports for different departments and analyse the given financial information 

  • Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered 

  • Prepare bank reconciliation for RR depository banks 

  • Upload tax data from system 

  • Prepare returns and files electronically 

To apply for this Accounting Associate role, you will need relevant experience in a similar role. You will also require experience in the following:

  • General Accounting 

  • Risk Management and Control 

  • Preparing returns and files electronically 

  • Inventory Reconciliation – Reconciles total inventory cost per physical count vs total cost per books
