Skillsearch is helping a games studio find a 3D Character Artist with a passion for stylised character modelling and texturing to join an inclusive and collaborative team on a remote-working basis. This full-time remote role comes with a salary of up to EUR 50k and excellent benefits.

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in defining the visual aspects of game worlds and play spaces, collaborating closely with artists, designers and tool creators.

In your first few weeks in this Senior 3D Character Artist role, you can expect to:

  • Create high-quality, stylised 3D character models and textures that align with the artistic vision and game requirements 

  • Innovate and develop efficient content creation workflows to enhance productivity and elevate the quality of game assets 

  • Transform 2D concept art or ideas into 3D characters while maintaining artistic vision. 

You will need at least two years of relevant professional experience in the game industry to apply for this Senior Character Artist role. You will also require the following:

  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality, stylised game art, particularly character models and textures 

  • A passion for art, games, and relevant technologies, with a deep artistic understanding and knowledge 

  • Proficiency in Blender and experience in various software and content creation workflows 

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience working with animators.
