Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior Web Frontend Engineer to join our Playgami team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis!

What You'll Do
- Translate wireframe designs into best in class web interfaces, supporting the player experience in Playgami Console.
- Work closely with feature owners, the Playgami Product Design (UX/UI) team and other development teams to implement new features for our users and stakeholders.
- Participate in Technical Design Documents and code reviews to collaborate and share feedback with other team members.
- Write automated, high-quality tests and work with your team and the Product Manager to ensure the delivery of high quality software that works smoothly.
- Define and encourage use of best practices for frontend engineering throughout all development phases.
- Help build a strong engineering team and culture.
- Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter.
- Team up with skilled colleagues that are committed to delivering the best products possible.
- Share knowledge and help colleagues both inside and outside of your team.
What We're Looking For
- Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
- High-quality and maintainable code writing
- Deep experience in frontend engineering and UI development, with a meaningful focus in the React ecosystem
- Strong understanding of web applications architecture and patterns, considering the distributed nature of such products
- Experience addressing cross-browser compatibility concerns
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a high functioning team environment
