Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting/Finance team in Barcelona, Spain on a hybrid basis!

What You Will Do
- Intercompany Reconciliation: Perform monthly intercompany income/expense entries and reconciliations of intercompany balances to ensure accurate transfer pricing, recording and elimination of transactions between several Scopely group companies, including monitoring settlements between companies
- Monitor intercompany transactions, ensuring they are appropriately documented, recorded, and comply with company policies and accounting standards
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in intercompany accounts promptly, collaborating with relevant departments or teams when necessary
- Support compliance efforts related to transfer pricing documentation and ensure adherence to applicable tax and accounting regulations
- Assist in the closing processes, specifically focusing on intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, as well as monthly cost allocation and bonus accrual entries
- Collaborate effectively with various teams, subsidiaries, and external auditors to address queries and provide necessary information during audits
- Leverage ERP system and coordinate/post expense allocations according to internal cost allocation rules
- Partner with FP&A team to design and document efficient cost allocation processes across various Scopely group companies
What You Will Need
- Minimum 3 years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar.
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Experience in working in an international company over multiple locations
- Demonstrated history of process improvements
- Prior experience working with Oracle will be an advantage
- Excellent communications skills in English
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other MS packages
