Scopely is looking for a Director of Product Security to join our IT/Ops team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis or remote in Spain or Portugal.

What You Will Do
- Direct and participate in penetration tests and game feature security assessment activities
- Frequently interact with game studios to understand their plans, risk posture, tolerance, and how information security can securely enable them to execute their vision and business obligations
- Provides expert guidance for addressing current security issues and has the foresight to see where the industry is headed to deliver optimal secure solutions proactively
- Report regularly to senior management to keep them abreast of the threat landscape, tactical controls, and strategic plans to succeed
- Makes process improvements for effective automation and orchestration to maximize team talent and streamline routine tasks
- Establish a prioritized roadmap for Product Security activities
- Drive strategy for product security and securing software development methodology that aligns with business objectives
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security controls at every stage of the software development life cycle
- Foster a culture of security awareness, including the education and training of developers on secure coding practices
- Drive the adoption of automated security tools and processes to enable shift-left security practices
- Work with various stakeholders to build and maintain a product security roadmap
- Recruit and develop a strong team of security professionals
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or Information System
- Requires a minimum of 12 years of related specialized experience
- Expertly writes and reviews documents and articulately communicates across cross-functional stakeholders
- Develops budgets, surfaces risks, and raises them to leadership with proposed solutions to complex topics while influencing team resource budgets and allocation
- Networks to bring top talent and external learnings to Scopely
- Ability to lead and execute large projects
- Strong risk management ability
- Effective in communicating the business risk of cybersecurity issues to leaders across the organization
- Ability to contribute to and maintain an annual budget
- Ability to build and maintain a high-performing team
- Effective communicator with peers, leaders, and partners.
