Why Economy Payments & Fraud?
As a Senior Front End Applications Engineer reporting to our Engineering Manager on the Payments & Fraud team, you will guide the innovation of commerce products in the metaverse.
You Will:
- Integrate console platforms such as Xbox.
- Use multiple full stack development languages to create extensible and scalable components and tools available on the Roblox platform.
- Integrate Roblox experiences with several different payment provider flows, supporting millions of real-money transactions and cover all of the user purchasing flows across different environments and devices.
- If you have experience creating inspiring, easily maintained code, you will be right at home within our dynamic and growing team.
You Have: - 6+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- C++ experience, comfortable working with in a production setting.
- Experience working on large-scale backend services & distributed systems.
- React framework experience, either working with or familiarity with.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field.
- Familiar with Lua or Game Development, or open to learning.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$233,840-$283,780 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
