Rebellion North are looking for an experienced Live Ops Product Lead to work on Rebellion games as well as trusted industry partners on genre-defining AAA IPs. You will have the opportunity to join an ambitious team working on multiple projects using different engines including Unreal 5. Join us as we shoot for the stars!

You will be joining the talented Rebellion North studio based in our Wakefield Location. Rebellion North are a dynamic and growing team who relish challenges and punching above their weight. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live Ops Product Lead to join our dynamic team to help work on a variety of exciting unannounced projects we have in development.

As the Live Ops Product Lead, you will define and execute the live operations strategy for our games, ensuring seamless game experiences and player engagement. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional live operations support and driving the success of our games.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game development, customer support and the marketing team, to prioritize and plan live ops activities.
  • Monitor performance of of the game and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement, ensuring high levels of player retention and satisfaction.
  • Analyse player behaviour and trends to drive data-informed decision-making, including the development of live ops plans and promotional activities.
  • Develop and implement in-game events, sales promotions, and special offers to drive player engagement, retention, and monetisation.
  • Coordinate with the production team to plan and execute timely updates and content releases.
  • Manage and optimise game economy and monetisation models to ensure a balanced and rewarding player experience.
  • Implement best practices in live ops and incorporate them into our games and stay up to date with industry trends.

Requirements
  • Highly experienced in a similar Live Ops or Product Lead role in the video games industry.
  • Strong knowledge of live operations best practices, trends, and evolving player behaviours in the gaming industry.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing and implementing successful live ops initiatives to drive player engagement, retention, and monetisation.
  • Excellent understanding of game economy design and in-game monetisation models.
  • Analytical and data driven with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about gaming and a strong understanding of various game genres and mechanics.
