Position: Senior Game Engineer
Job Overview: As a Senior Game Engineer at PTW Gaming Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading the engineering team, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the successful development of our AA/AAA games. Your expertise will be instrumental in architecting and developing scalable, efficient, and reusable game systems that form the backbone of our gaming experiences. Collaborating closely with other departments, you will define technical requirements and establish smooth production pipelines. Your proficiency in Unity and/or Unreal, coupled with your extensive knowledge of programming languages, game engines, and relevant frameworks, will be crucial in achieving our gaming vision. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to elevate their skills and achieve excellence in game development.
- Architect and develop scalable, efficient, and reusable game systems, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless gameplay experiences.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to define technical requirements and ensure smooth production pipelines throughout the game development process.
- Utilize your proficiency in Unity and/or Unreal for game development, integrating assets, including characters, environments, and VFX, performantly into game engines.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of programming languages, game engines, and relevant frameworks, contributing to the efficient and smooth development of game features.
- Apply your extensive experience in game development, including optimization, debugging, and performance profiling, to achieve exceptional gaming experiences.
RequirementsQualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Game Development.
- A passion for gaming and a keen interest in game development.
- Basic knowledge of game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, and programming languages like C++, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with version control systems and bug tracking software is a plus.
- Relevant experience or completed game development projects (internships, personal projects, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges in game development.
