Network Engineer
With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we're dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. We are now looking for a Network Engineer to join our growing IT team.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the global production network environments is available 24x7
• Configure, install and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN appliances, servers, ...)
• Maximize network performance
• Evaluate new hardware and software solutions
• Daily system monitoring and health checks
• Provide support for network related issues
Requirements
• Deep knowledge of networking systems and protocols (routers, switches, load balancers,etc)
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, DNS)
• Experience in LAN/WAN (Ethernet, Fiber)
• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP/MPLS)
• Experience in configuration and management of firewalls and switches (Palo Alto, Cisco, Dell)
• Experience working in an enterprise datacenter environment
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Willing to work in an on-call system
• A professional level of written and spoken English*
Nice to Have
• Experience with Vmware
• Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with DAS/SAN technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Zabbix, Nagios,...)
