The creators of the critically-acclaimed game are hiring a full-time programmer for an unannounced title. We are looking for programmers who are comfortable using procedural languages and are flexible with learning new ones.
They are working on a top-down, grid-based puzzle game in the style of Sokoban but much more complex. An ideal candidate has shipped games engine code in C/C++, should be curious about how computers work and have a history of working on games, prototypes, or interesting projects that involve deepening one's knowledge. It's also important that whoever they hire have a strong passion for the kind of games they make and always want to be better.
You should get a lot of freedom to approach problems the way you want to, and to employ your full range of technical creativity. Management overhead is minimal. There are many perks you won't find in other jobs. When it comes to development they pitch a no-nonsense approach.
