Job Overview:

They seek a Marketing Director to take the helm of their marketing endeavors for their latest venture - a top-down multiplayer shooter game designed for the mid-core/hardcore audience.

This fully remote role demands a visionary marketer with a solid background in executing global marketing campaigns for mobile games.

The ideal candidate should excel in devising innovative marketing strategies, particularly those extending beyond conventional paid user acquisition methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Game-Specific Marketing Strategy: Develop a comprehensive marketing plan tailored to the unique aspects of our top-down multiplayer shooter, targeting the midcore/hardcore gaming segment.
  • Global Campaign Execution: Implement and manage marketing campaigns across various regions, ensuring cultural relevance and appeal to a diverse audience.
  • Innovative Marketing Approaches: Focus on creative, non-traditional marketing channels and strategies to attract and retain players.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and develop the game's brand identity across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Regularly assess campaign performance, utilizing data to refine and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, prioritizing high-impact and cost-effective strategies.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the development and community management teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with game updates and player feedback.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain a strong relationship with the game's community, leveraging their insights for better engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive and proven experience in mobile game marketing, with a strong track record of successfully launching and managing marketing campaigns for mid-core/hardcore mobile games.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile gaming market, with specific insights into the behaviors and preferences of the mid-core/hardcore gaming audience.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in mobile game marketing, including non-traditional and organic user acquisition strategies.
Skills:
  • Creative and strategic mindset, capable of devising innovative marketing solutions.
