We are currently working with a leader in the sports technology industry, who are currently best in class in their field of high-end VR experiences which allow users to experience realistic scenarios, whether this be educational, physical training or for treatment use.

Clients include several famous sports teams, particular within football as well as this their technology has caught the attention of several high-profile sports stars.

As a Lead Unity Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing multiplayer gaming systems for upcoming projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with C# and Unity, with at least 5 years of experience, and a proven track record of shipping at least 3 successful multiplayer games. VR experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams to create high-quality multiplayer gaming experiences
Develop, test, and maintain multiplayer systems using Unity
Implement networking solutions to support multiplayer gameplay
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
Debug and resolve issues related to multiplayer gameplay
Participate in code and design reviews

Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Unity Multiplayer
Proficiency in C# and familiarity with scripting, animation, and UI systems in Unity
Ideally have a strong focus on multiplayer game development

Benefits:
Salary up to £90,000
UK Remote/Hybrid working (Manchester based)
25 days holiday
Early Friday finish (15:30)

This role will be a permanent position which can be based remotely or on a hybrid work pattern from their Manchester based Office. (Please note all applicants must be based in the UK with British Citizenship)
