Your Mission in Funcom

At Funcom, we are continuously looking to improve our games and the content we provide to our players. As part of that improvement, we are growing our Marketing and Analytics team for Dune: Awakening and future Funcom games!

As a Senior Digital Analyst in Funcom, together with the Lead Game Data Analyst, the Marketing Manager, and the Performance Marketing Manager, you will be the cornerstone to building, improving, and maintaining digital analytics processes. You will be trusted to setup, gather, analyze, and communicate information that can help marketing teams and senior management make informed decisions about the projects.

How you can have an impact in your position:

  • Work with the Lead Game Data Analyst, Marketing Manager and Performance Marketing Manager, as well as development, operation, and finance departments to build web and social platforms data model as well as analytical framework.
  • Design, maintain and keep improving data platforms and sub-systems (website page tagging, third-parties data collection, data analyzing, data service, reports generating and data visualization).
  • Track KPIs on a regular basis to provide sufficient information for project decisions
  • Provide specific analysis report (correlation analysis, retention analysis, user profiling, competitive analysis, corporation analysis) on demands.
  • Work closely with clients and respective team members from various disciplines within the organization (media, creative, account management, customer insight, trends) to optimize and coordinate campaign strategies.
  • Evaluate site performance, analyze web analytics, and manage the tracking and reporting of deliverables.
  • Gather social media and networks telemetry and provide reporting as well as insights to Marketing and PR teams.
  • Analyze campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to optimize campaign strategy and increase ROI.
  • Help mentor junior analysts on the team.
  • Have an active role in the awareness and training of data and tools in Funcom.


We are looking for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Intelligence, or any other relevant field).
  • At least 5 years' working experience as digital analyst, and experience with entire digital projects data analyzing.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques, languages, software, and systems (R, Python).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of cloud tools like Google Cloud Platform and AWS and proficiency in SQL (or a SQL-like language).
  • Strong background in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other social media platforms analytics.
  • Experience in sharing knowledge of online marketing trends and opportunities that translate into competitive advantages for the organization; increasing traffic and customer engagement.
  • Experience in A/B testing hypotheses and tools, understanding statistical concepts, and ability to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Understand market behavior; experience in optimizing campaigns by relevant KPIs, such as CTR and CPA.
  • Preferably experience working with senior members of a team including Creative & Studio Directors.
  • Passion for persistent online games.
