I am working with a leading AAA studio based in the UK, renowned for developing immersive and groundbreaking gaming experiences. We're currently embarking on the development journey of a brand new open-world, all-out warfare FPS title, seeking talented Gameplay Programmers to join the team

 

As Senior Systems Programmer you'll have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the technical architecture, gameplay mechanics, and overall development of our exciting project.

 

Responsibilities

As an Senior Systems Programmer, you will:

  • Serve as a leading voice in the technical design process, contributing to the creation of gameplay systems, AI behavior, and optimization strategies within Unreal Engine.
  • Foster collaboration across all teams within the studio to ensure seamless integration of gameplay features and technical solutions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to achieve high-quality outcomes in the programming process.

 

Requirements

To qualify for the Senior Systems Programmer opportunity, you will require:

  • Strong proficiency using C++ with Unreal Engine

  • In-depth knowledge of hardware architectures, performance considerations, and memory restrictions.

  • Solid understanding of multi-threading and networking.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
