Senior Environment Artist

Derby - 4 day work week

Do you want to be part of a collaborative and high performing art team? Do you want to take on more ownership in a versatile Environment Art setting? If so, this could be the role for you!

I am working with a AAA studio who are building an FPS all out warfare game. With stunning realistic environments, props, vehicles and other assets, they are looking for a Senior Environment Artist to work in Unreal Engine working and other tools to create visually impactful environments for the game. 

Responsibilities

As a Senior Environment Artist, you will:

  • Create believable and photorealistic environments within UE5

  • Create game-ready assets given the technical limitations

 

  • Work within inter-disciplinary teams of artists, level designers and tech artists
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high-quality standard

 

Requirements

To qualify for the Senior Environment Artist opportunity, you will require:

  • Expert understanding of current game art processes, limitations and dependencies

 

  • Proficient experience with relevant software packages such as 3ds Max or Blender, Photoshop, Substance Designer / Painter and Zbrush
  • A understanding of UE5 and its new technologies such as Nanite and Lumen and working with PBR materials to ensure all artwork is to a high standard.
