We're on the lookout for an Unreal C++ Programmer to join an exciting studio just as they've released their first game!
The game you'll be working on is the first life simulation game built with multiplayer in mind from the group up. Players can create and control their characters, establish families, build homes, and perform various daily activities such as sleeping, eating, and working.
Your responsibilities...
- Implement and maintain gameplay and network related game technologies in Unreal Engine.
- Working closely with our team of designers, developers, artists.
- Write efficient, maintainable and scalable code.
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role... - Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine C++ and networking in Unreal Engine.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in game development, with a focus on Unreal Engine.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience using Git or Perforce for version control.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- High level of proficiency in English
Bonus points... - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with life simulation games and the video game industry as a personal interest.
- Prior experience with PlayFab.
