VFX Artist in Glasgow
Are you an experience VFX Artist with a background working with particle systems and materials? Facing working on a nextgen console/PC game?
As the VFX Artist you’ll be joining a studio that has won several awards for their original AAA games over recent years, as well as an award for being a great place to work. Currently a small team, they are looking to expand and branch out in the near future, so it’s an exciting time to join. VFX Artist Responsibilities:
It’s simple - you create beautiful, clean VFX for an exciting new PC and console title
Alongside your personal achievements you will also work closely with people from across the studio to make sure every aspect of the game is to a high standard, and every person is supported and integrated into the team
Requirements for this role in Glasgow:
Professional experience creating VFX with Unreal Engine 4 from prototyping to release
Examples of work showing your usage of Photoshop and After Effects to create beautiful VFX
Good background of work using particle systems and editing tools in Unreal Engine
Experience creating materials in Unreal Engine
It would also be beneficial if have experience with Houdini or a similar procedural art tool
