Team 17 is one of the industry’s leading games studios, with a multitude of diverse IP’s across all platforms. Our award-winning business is now looking to expand.
Working initially with the QA Team but with a view to working across the company as needed, we are now looking for someone to look after the training requirements of the business.
You will be responsible for:
Onboarding and mentoring new hires on company and project specific processes
Working closely with Management to determine the training needs
Liaising with team leads/management to identify skill gaps in members of staff
Developing and updating course content and training documentation to do with processes and soft skills
Delivering training course materials for entry-level, new hires including basic concepts that define software testing and quality
Collecting feedback and monitoring course effectiveness
Instructing new hires on activities such as issue tracking workflow, professional bug writing, regression, and scripted testing execution
Auditing written reports, exploratory sessions, and scripted and regression testing
Providing feedback through issue tracking databases for written reports
You will need to demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:

Proven ability to teach and mentor staff
Public speaking and presentation skills
Self-driven, independent, out of the box thinker
Must be up to date with all technological advancements
The ability to devise good working practices and approaches to problem solving
The ability to clarify and escalate relevant issues where you feel the severity is misunderstood
