Senior Environment Artist in London
Are you an experienced Environment Artist with beautiful portfolio that shows off your extraordinary skills for making environmental assets?
This studio is one of the largest indie studios in the UK and make hugely successful multiplayer games that entertain millions around the world. They have won several best places to work awards for their studios around the world, so you can be sure you’ll be looked after as a part of this team!
As Senior Environment Artist you will be supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team, while also leading by example with your detailed, beautiful environments.
Senior Environment Artist Responsibilities:
Create assets and environments for the game
Use your understanding of the game style to produce in-game assets from solid pre-production drawings and block-outs
Work across multiple projects and styles simultaneously and apply your high standards across all styles
Follow technical briefs and time tracking to ensure your assets and environments are delivered as required and on time
Risk and issues will be highlighted and addressed as you move through the creation process and will report on your progress daily
Requirements for this role in London:
1 or more shipped game where you have been involved from beginning to end
Strong portfolio of work showing off your modelling and texturing abilities
Extensive experience working with Maya, Unity and ideally Zbrush/Mudbox as well
A natural ability to notice small but important details in your work and the drive to produce high quality work

Aside from the Tube, London offers buses, river buses, black cabs, ‘Boris Bikes’ and trams, so getting around the city should never be a problem!
