They’ve undergone rapid growth over the past couple of years, increasing their headcount to 60+, ramping up its frequency and scale of projects, and remains a major player in the UK games development industry exhibiting at international gaming festivals such as EGX, GDC, Tokyo Game Show and PAX.

As their new Network Programmer, you will work on building and maintaining the networking infrastructure used in the studio's online multiplayer projects.

  • Help optimize the bandwidth usage of real-time online games

  • Help maintain and extend the prediction/interpolation code base designed to improve packet loss handling

  • Work with designers to implement efficient multiplayer gameplay functionality

  • Work with in house and external testers to debug and fix networking related bugs

  • Maintain coding standards and practices set by project leads


  • Ability to work in or relocate to Sunderland, UK
  • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Games Programming or equivalent

  • Highly proficient in Unity and C#

  • Strong knowledge of networking principles

  • Network programming experience in a games development environment


  • 2+ years experience in the games industry
  • VR development experience
  • Android development experience
