Are you an experienced Level Designer, looking to work in London, and interested in working on an exciting sequel for a multi-million selling hit? This could be the job for you!

As a Level Designer at this studio in London you’ll be overseeing the level design for this exciting upcoming title. You’ll need to have extensive experience in creating quirky level designs and will like to think out of the box to create your games.

Level Designer responsibilities:

Create level designs that are enjoyable, unique and compelling

Review levels created by others and select any to be included in the game

Collaborate with peers and playtesters to identify and implement improvements as needed

Work closely with other teams in the company to make sure everyone has a full understanding of the project as a whole, and use this company-wide inclusion to ensure our strengths are incorporated into the game’s levels

Solve problems as they arise regarding level design holes or imbalances

Use your great communication skills to become a key member of the design team and make sure communication throughout the wider team is at a high level at all times

Oversee level design documentation and create as needed

Essential requirements for this role in London:

Extensive experience with level design, game design, balancing and difficulty curves

You know your narratives – strong inclinations of how to tell a story and proven experience of the results you’ve produced

Understanding of design mechanics and system

An interest in past, current and future level design trends

Previous experience as a designer of multiplayer games

Previous experience as a designer on released PC/Console games

Excellent presentation and overall communication skills

You love problem solving, finding new approaches, and always want to learn, improve and share
