Lead Network Developer in London
Are you a network coder with a solid background in the field and a strong work ethic? This could be the perfect new role for you!
As a Lead Network Developer at this studio in London, you will be working in this high responsibility position to come up with robust solutions for networking issues. You will be working at the cutting-edge of the industry in this hands-on, autonomous role.
The studio focuses on creating exciting and memorable live performances, which is changing the way the world experiences music and shows! They create the high-quality visual software that is used in these productions, which makes for some awesome audience experiences. Lead Network Developer responsibilities:
Produce maintainable code based around networking
Define the structure of the network solution working alongside the Head of Software Engineering
Provide user support when required
Define network functionality testing strategy alongside QA
Essential requirements for this role in London:
Extensive experience of network coding
Experience of technologies such as Visual Studio, C++ and Windows
Experience working on one or more commercially released software product
Able to work on all areas of codebase
Background in high performance real-time systems
C++ experience is highly beneficial
Experience working on a network heavy multiplayer game would be useful
