Lead C# Unity Gameplay Programmer

Part of one of the largest mobile gaming companies in the world, has opened its second

independent game studio in Australia.

As a Lead Gameplay Programmer, you will be leading a small gameplay team and will be

responsible for the technical architecture and development of gameplay systems.

We're looking for a talented and passionate Programmer to the team.

This is a remote working model, anywhere in Australia.

Tasks and Responsibilities

● Technically lead a small team of gameplay programmers

● Working with the Technical Director, set the technical architecture for gameplay systems

● Implement new gameplay systems and user tools, in close partnership with the content team.

● Improve, debug, maintain, and optimize existing gameplay systems.

● Offer technical solutions to improve the code quality and performance of gameplay systems.

● Planning and task breakdown of gameplay systems which you will be responsible for.

Knowledge ( experience in one of the following areas)

● Previous experience working as a Lead Gameplay Programmer

● Strong 3D mathematics, physics, and linear algebra is a essential

● Experience working with character animation, locomotion, and combat

● Experience working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials)

● Generalist gameplay knowledge across all areas of 3D character gameplay

● C# programming experience with Unity is desirable

● Experience with Backend Services & building systems for Live Operations is useful

● C++ / Objective C / Go Lang experience is useful


● Multiple published game titles on any platform

● Experience leading gameplay programmers from a technical perspective

● Experience working in collaborative creative teams

● Experience using source control tools such as Git
