Lead Artist in Amsterdam
Are you an experienced artist who has worked in the games industry in a senior role? Would you like to join a AAA studio that is home to one of the most loved games of all time?
As the Lead Artist at this world-renowned studio in Amsterdam, you will be responsible for establishing and achieving the art goals for the projects you work on. Whilst overseeing the development of the game, you will be looking after the art team to ensure goals are met and junior team members are mentored.
The studio is home to a highly successful multiplayer shooter game, and the team is made up of individuals from all over the world, making it very tight-knit, anyone can fit right into this team! If you will be relocating to Amsterdam for the role, the studio offers a great relocation package which will enable you to settle in with ease!
Lead Artist key responsibilities:
Establish artistic goals for projects
Mentor junior members of the art team
Ensure art is produced on time and to schedule
Model high quality high and low poly 3D assets
Provide solutions to issues so that the project stays on time
Coordinate with other teams and studios working on the same project
Essential requirements for this role in Amsterdam:
Significant experience in the games industry in an art or technical art role
Experience working on AAA open-world games in a Senior or Lead Artist role
Experience of using procedural systems to ship AAA open-world games
Fluent in 2+ of the following: 3D Art, 2D Art, Technical Art, Lighting, Textures
Experience of developing large-scale, open-world, sandbox games
Knowledge of trends in art production methods and gaming
