Working in a passionate close-knit team that ensures your voice does not get lost in the crowd, you will deliver ‘AAA’ racing games within a studio that will value and recognise your contributions.

 

After another successful decade the studio is gearing itself up for developing the next generation of cutting-edge racing products and they are looking to expand their core design team with a handful of experienced hires, including a Senior Level Designer.



As the studio’s new Level Designer you'll produce and assist others in producing content for assigned projects, maximising all available assets and technology and ensuring gameplay and overall quality meets and exceeds the high standards required within specified reasonable timescales.

You will:

  • Ensure all allocated design work is documented in accordance with the standards outlined and set by the Lead Level designer, Line Manager or Games Director.
  • Use all sources available to research the relevant area(s) of design.
  • Identify and report additional tasks over and above the delegated work that will aid the projects schedule and/ or quality.
  • Play test and balance all owned areas of the game, in line with the vision and direction as set by the Design team.
  • Communicate regularly with other Development team members on game balancing and quality issues.
