Creative Director in Nottingham

As the Creative Director at this studio in Nottingham, reporting directly to the CEO, you will take on responsibility for design management of games and mentoring of junior team members to inspire and educate them.

Creative Director key responsibilities:
Work with other team leads to define the creative direction for client’s games
Work with designers, producers and programmers to oversee core design vision to the game
Communicate progress and problem resolutions to the rest of the team
Guide and mentor junior members of the team
Deliver presentations and reviews with stakeholders and handle external interviews with the media
Hold accountability for the game hitting quality targets
Essential requirements for this role in Nottingham:
Experience working on one or more high-profile games
Strong track record of design management, as well as leading and inspiring teams
Experience on working two or more published titles in a Creative Director or Lead Designer role
Significant prior free-to-play games experience
Knowledgeable in several aspects of game design such as UX, core and meta gameplay, game structure, reward systems, monetisation, etc.
