This thriving start-up effort, which is currently embedded in the business unit of King (the makers of the #1 mobile game Candy Crush Saga) is rapidly scaling and is poised to become one of the largest advertising businesses in the world. The business has been focusing on the introduction of premium, innovative advertising experiences to King's 195+M casual gaming players. Looking ahead, we're planning the launch of advertising across the rest of the Activision Blizzard portfolio including high growth areas like eSports. Your role within our Kingdom
You will be the primary point of contact in EMEA across a variety of internal functions and external partners who are focused on business development, campaign messaging and sales-enablement. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:
Working alongside the Head of Marketing, Measurement and Insights and the rest of the marketing team to develop a comprehensive marketing lead generation strategy for the newly created ads business. This includes content, event and thought leadership initiatives, in addition to digital solutions.
In tandem with the measurement and insights team, this role will be responsible for transforming empirical insights into inspiring marketing stories, creating a marketing voice that is truly data-led and driven.
Developing and localizing an ever-evolving range of flawless marketing materials, from original white papers and blogs to pitch decks and other sales enablement materials.
Building partnerships with industry publications and organizations in the EMEA market.
Partnering with our events lead to seamlessly integrate the ABM story and marketing objectives into the customer experience from large industry initiatives like Cannes Lions and DMEXCO to smaller proprietary engagements.
Crafting creative that maintains consistency in brand voice, execution and design across the globe in addition to developing new, fresh takes on messaging for a growing brand.
Working alongside the Creative Director to set the tone and voice of a new brand.
Keeping a finger on the pulse of the industry and staying ahead of mobile advertising, media & gaming trends will be critical component of this position.
Profound attention to detail, and willingness to own and polish projects end to end to craft truly exceptional deliverables.
Excellent collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with a variety of different roles, from data scientists to account managers.
A self-starter who thrives in a fun and results-oriented work environment, is passionate about problem-solving, and enjoys working on a wide variety of projects.
Commercial experience on the brand side, mobile platforms, and/or gaming.If you've worked with the native app experience, we'd really love to hear from you.
A strong understanding of the advertising (marketers, media planning/selling & creative) and gaming (mobile, console, PC) eco-systems or passion to learn more about these arenas is required.
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Superlative verbal and written communication skills; previous experience with copywriting a plus.
Experience coordinating with press and writing press releases, conducting interviews, amd overseeing corporate speakers desired.
Self-motivated with outstanding execution and problem-solving skills.
